iPhone Dump

It’s been awhile since an iPhone dump (others here and here), and I have about a bajillion photos on my iPhone that have gone undocumented. That’s like, a crime, in blogger world. So,┬álet’s get to it!

I don’t remember what night this was taken, but I know I was working on something and if you must work in the evenings, you shall do it outside, on your deck, with a cold one. amiright?!

Look at my beautiful new baby. No, no. Not a human one. (Or even a dog one.) But this gorgeous purse. I’ve had my last purse since Christmas 2013 and I was long overdue for a new one. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my Kate Spade, but I use the same purse every day and I wear them out. I was more than ready for a shiny new one and I snagged this at the Coach outlet over Labor Day (hello super sale)!

POOL. Sara is back from Buffalo so we spent quite a few days at the pool before Labor Day ruined summer for us all.

A few weeks ago, we went to a concert at Churchill Downs. ‘Twas fun!

Gracie girl has been loving our 80 degree weather and all the walk/runs she’s been getting.

I took this picture because I found this shirt in the back of my closet and I forgot how much I l.o.v.e. it. Thank youuuuu, Old Navy two years ago.

I got to enjoy one last float of the year with the Forecastle Foundation out on the Green River with one of our partners, The Nature Conservancy. Beautiful, beautiful float.

Sunday footballs have started. That means my Thursday night, Sundays and Monday nights look like the below photo. Except, usually there is an iPad out too because you can’t monitor four fantasy football teams on one screen. That’s just not acceptable. čśë

Ice cream! Our local McDonald’s celebrated their 20th anniversary last week with $.20 cones so Kev and I took Grace up there to eat ice cream before dinner. Worth it every time.

This month is Bourbon Heritage Month. Last week was the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. And last Saturday was the Bourbon Gala. I’m still trying to get back to real life.

And that’s that!

Gracie’s 4th Birthday

Recently, our little lady turned FOUR! I can’t believe she’s already four years old. Seems like just yesterday we brought her home, all cute and tiny and totally clueless when it came to taking care of a puppy.┬áNevertheless, she has grown up to be the most cuddly, smart and hilariously entertaining dog that we love to pieces. We just had to celebrate her birthday, so we decided to give her The Best Day Ever.

We started the day with a long hike in the Bernheim Forest. We covered a few miles and let her take the lead. She got tired towards the end, but man did she enjoy all the smells.

Next stop? Three Dogs Bakery in St. Matthews. We brought her in the store with us and she had a HAY DAY with the other dogs.

We came home with a peanut buttery treat of sorts and stuck four candles in it and made her sit and wait for us to take a picture before she could eat it. We’re the worst, I know.

Now that I think about it, that was pretty cruel. Ha!

But don’t worry, we let her have at it and she loved every second of chowing down.

Happy 4th Birthday, Gracie girl!

(Previous birthdays: first, second, third. And also, the day we got her.)
