Half Marathon Training {December 7-13}

I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, but before I get to what we’ve been up to, I need to do some running recaps! It’s amazing how fast this month has flown by and I’m deep in the middle of my training program. So, here we go!

December 9: Riddle me this…four miles last week was no problem. Two miles on a random Tuesday night? So hard.

December 10: I was mad from the run the night before, so I was determined to make this a good run. And it was! Running is all mental, I tell ya.

December 13: Long run day! I’m not going to lie, five miles is intimidating. I don’t think I’ve ever run five miles straight in my whole life. In fact, I know I haven’t. But I did it! I was still getting over my strep/lingering cold, so I had a lot of coughing fits and had to stop a couple of times to cough up half a lung. But other than that, it was a good run!
