Half Marathon Training {October 12-October 18}

October 13: On the Couch to 5K app, this was the first time I was supposed to run for 20 minutes without taking any walking breaks. While my lungs feel so great and I feel in such good shape, I was nervous for my shin splints because they were still bothering me a little. Turns out, I had nothing to worry about because my legs felt great too!

  • Walk pace (0.64 miles) – 15:31
  • Run pace (1.73 miles) – 11:54


October 18: I kicked off my Saturday with a nice run around the block. Legs and lungs felt so great!

  • Walk pace (0.99 miles) – 16:11
  • Run pace (1.54 miles) – 11:41
