Tin Roof

Work trip to Champaign = success. I got to see one of my very best friends and I couldn’t have been happier to catch up.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous yesterday! Windows down!

My work trip was only one night so I was back home in Louisville (I definitely just wrote Des Moines…remind me again what city I live in?) to go out with Kevin on Saturday night.

His and her drinks were ordered.

So was a side of their queso dip.

Which we enjoyed with our many, many friends who came out with us.

Meeting new friends in a new city is a whole other discussion/post for another time.

But that didn’t stop us from having an awesome time. The bar, Tin Roof (which I thought was local, but is apparently a chain?), had a local band from Nashville play a bunch of covers.

From Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline, to Adele’s Rollin’ in the Deep to Alanis Morissette’s Ironic, they were a blast.

Today started and ended being very lazy, with some unsuccessful house hunting with our real estate agent in between.

The only other productive thing that we did was enter our information into Carnival’s website to prepare for our CRUISE which is in 35 days! It seems like we booked this cruise forever ago and I cannot wait to be in the Bahamas with Kevin and two of our best friends for 5 days.
