I was super pumped for this weekend to arrive because all week long, Kevin had been in Kansas City for work. I don’t know how military spouses do it because I really hate when my husband travels and he travels very rarely.
His flight arrived Friday night and I picked him up from the airport with Gracie in tow. We rushed home to catch the end of the Blues game and just like that, the moment I was looking forward to all week had arrived. <3
He had Saturday off so we spent it getting a lot done around the house. We started with coffee/tea on the deck and set up a game plan. Kevin tackled cutting the grass and trimming while I pulled weeds and put down new mulch. A few hour later, our front yard was lookin’ real good.
We had Danny and Sara over for grilling out and a bonfire.
Bonfire season has arrived and I couldn’t be more excited!
Gracie was especially into it. 😉
A bonfire isn’t complete without s’mores.
Kev was at work today but I was able to get a lot done around the house. I tackled laundry, reorganizing the pantry, finishing the bathroom light replacement project (more to come on that) aaaand vacuuming. Sunday night has arrived and its time to get ready for the next week. At least this week I’ll have my hubby home with me!
